TURNING AN OFFICE SPACE INTO A DESIGN STUDIO - ROCKLIN CA
It’s official! TAMI FAULKNER DESIGN is getting a new studio in the Historic Quarry District, across the street from Quarry Park in Rocklin CA. We’ll be expanding our services to the greater Roseville / Rocklin, and Folsom areas. Even so we'll continue to serve clients in Butte, Sutter and Yuba Counties, mixed in with out-of-state projects as well.
THE LITTLE BLUE BUILDING
Soon this little blue, stand-alone building will be transformed from an office space to a creative studio. When I first came across the listing, I got excited about all the simple changes that could be made to improve it's curb appeal.
CURB-SIDE APPEAL CHANGES:
- Fresh new paint - siding and trim
- New exterior doors - with painted accent color
- New door hardware
- Repair damaged window trims at front of building
- Replace exterior lighting
- Trim trees
- Freshen-up landscape
- Add bark to planting areas
- Include signage
- Potted plants and new door mats
- Window boxes
It took me no time at all to decide to paint both the siding and trim white, but the paint color for the new doors (that will have 3/4 clear glass, a 10" bottom rail, and recessed bottom panel) is still up for grabs. Here's some favorite inspiration photos that have me thinking.
